RE-BRAND
We are El Autobus, a full service creative studio and production company. Our work varies from building the personality and identity of small start-ups, to helping well-known corporate brands find their groove. Creativity is the common thread: finding the most memorable and effective way to achieve a communication goal while creating a great consumer experience along the way.
For our re-branding, we retrofitted the old Autobus look with its new values, utilizing our original Kombi with wings logo and imagining what its boarding ticket would look like. The outcome is a modern and dynamic take on vintage bus tickets, through which we showcase our four main services: branding, advertising, production and content creation.
The main design practices that represent our identity are:
- Logo – created to be modular, to represent El Autobus’ current and future services.
- Typography – we developed a custom typeface, drawing inspiration from vintage public transportation typography, paying particular attention to vintage buses.
- Iconography – Showcasing El Autobus’ 4 main services and its identity. All created to look like stamps found on vintage bus tickets.
- Photography – we imagined our beloved Kombi taking a road trip through Miami and created various scenes to represent everything El Autobus stands for: approachability, creative work and a small but dedicated team.
